Transportation
Getting to Buhoma typically involves flying into Kigali International Airport (Rwanda) or Entebbe International Airport (Uganda). From Kigali, it's a scenic drive of approximately 4-5 hours to Buhoma. From Entebbe, the drive is significantly longer, around 9-10 hours. Many tour operators offer transportation packages that include airport transfers and transport to Buhoma. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Kampala to Butogota, and then hire a private taxi or boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to Buhoma. However, this option can be less reliable and more time-consuming.
